Following her 35-year career in corporate America, Colleen pursued her lifelong dream of working with others in a relationally healing capacity. Colleen received her master’s degree in Counseling from The Townsend Institute at Concordia University and received her undergraduate degree from Seattle Pacific University. Through her education as well as her experience counseling others over the years, both in a lay and professional capacity, Colleen understands the transformative power of safe relationships in the healing process. She is passionate about helping to relieve burdens and remove obstacles in life that keep us from realizing our full potential and becoming all we are meant to be. She focuses on helping to heal wounds that hinder our ability to give and receive love and journeying with the grieving toward renewed hope. Colleen works with clients in the areas of self-esteem and worthiness, self-acceptance, empowerment and fulfillment in career and personal life, and relates to many phases of a woman’s life, including single, divorced, widowed and married. She works with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, irrational thought patterns and other mental and emotional health issues. Whether working through problematic relationships or situations, or dealing with long-held irrational and negative core beliefs, Colleen’s style is very relational and focuses on individual need and personal growth toward mental, emotional and spiritual health.
